Heidi Tripp

Heidi grew up between California and Missouri before moving to the east coast for law school. At Penn State Law – University Park, she was the vice president of the Criminal Law Society, a member of the Civil Rights Appellate Clinic, a published editor of the Penn State Law Review, and a student extern for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

After law school, she moved to Colorado to represent clients in postconviction and appellate proceedings. Her practice quickly expanded to include guidance for clients through collateral consequences resulting from criminal convictions. Her unique skills allow her to advocate for clients by first and foremost getting to know them and their case so she can approach their legal issue with mitigation in mind. She has used these mitigation skills to help clients successfully petition for clemency, progress through the parole process, request referrals for special needs parole, and resolve complications arising from warrants and extradition.

Heidi represents clients convicted of all crimes, and has extensive experience representing clients convicted of violent felonies and homicides. However, she believes that all clients deserve quality representation regardless of the charges they face.

She joined the Angela Campbell Law Firm in 2025 and continues fighting for clients’ rights in appellate and postconviction proceedings. When she is not advocating for her clients, Heidi is spending time with her husband and their two dogs.
